In a Martha’s Vineyard Post Office

We’d like to thank CJ for this post:

About two years ago, I was vacationing with my grandparents and aunts in Martha’s Vineyard. My 16-year-old aunt Samantha wanted to send a letter to her boyfriend back home in the Midwest. We drove all over the island for hours, searching for a post office. When we finally found one, my grandfather went inside to deliver the letter. He came out grinning from ear to ear and said, “You’ll never guess who I saw inside.”

You guessed it, Bill Murray. My aunts and I started screaming and we ran inside the tiny post office. Murray himself was standing behind the counter, helping two other people do something with boxes. Like the Second City/Saturday Night Live lover I am, I began to blubber about how he’s my idol. Bill just stood there, looking slightly amused. I hugged him, told him I loved him, and ran out of the post office.
